Kate Moss X Topshop

Evening guys,

How is everyone? I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. Mine was spent in Paris as I was due in Paris for meetings on the Monday and it was my friend Pedro's birthday. What perfect timing. As usual I had an amazing time, and I always love working in the Paris office because most of my friends are based there. But alas I am back in London and have my elbows sharpened for my commute to work in the AM! Thanks tube strikes!

Of course the Tube strike isn't just effecting our usual mundane commute into central London, Nope, it's also effecting the launch of the big come back collaboration- Kate Moss for Topshop!

Alas as I type this, die hard Topshop girls (I like to think of myself as one of these girls but sadly 1-I'm tired from coming back from Paris, 2- if it's available online I'll do my darn hardest to just get it online 3-It took me 2 hours to get home from Kings Cross today…imagine getting the bus home after that!) are shopping there little hearts off to follow in the footsteps of this countries most iconic fashion idol.

I am sceptical about the prices of the pieces, having bought pieces from EACH Kate Moss collection I have noticed the dramatic price increase for this collection. Is it because collaborations have sensationalised? Probably, but one thing I do know, If quality has anything to do with it, it will be incredible.

Here are the pieces I will be hunting down tonight/ tomorrow.

One Shoulder Chiffon (Available in black also)- £85

Floral Chiffon Maxi Dress- £180

Feather Off the Shoulder Cocktail Dress- £130

Paisley Print Sundress- £65

Paisley Print Midi Dress- £90

Fringed Leather Jacket- £190

Fringed Suede Jacket- £225

Paisley Print Silk Overcoat- £120

Beaded Fringe Jacket- £225

Scallop Shorts- £46

The collection is apparently going viral tonight at 10pm and tomorrow on Net-a-Porter. You can also check on the Topshop website for a list of stores holding the collection. Enjoy! I wanna hear about your buys guys!

Hey guys,

As you all know I am a massive shoe hoarder. Yep it's my weakness but a good weakness right? I have previously posted about my love for the incredible Sophia Webster when her amazing pop up store at Covent garden opened. Now it's time to focus on her next great venture. Finn Pumps £460.

Penelope Pumps £460.

Anneka Pumps £395.

Lola Pumps £240.

If anyone has bought a pair I would love to know which pair and your thought on the collaboration.

The Ambiguous Palm Tree

Evening guys,

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter Bank Holiday. Mine was lovely spent in Wales with my family eating lots of chocolate and the best roast dinner in the world (thanks mum). But alas it's back to London for me tomorrow. I must admit I will always profess my love for Wales (welsh Pakistani till the day I die) but I love London so much I always miss it when I'm at home. Yes I would happily call myself an adoptive Londoner.

You are all probably thinking why is there a giant palm tree, and where is it? The answer to that question, the back of my flat and on the side of the movie. One singular, stand alone palm tree in the midst of a theatre, a movie theatre, a university, a community theatre centre and flats. Dramatic and AMAZING! Cue an opportunity for an outfit post.

I love this outfit purely because I am proud of my customising attempt. These jeans I am wearing are a pair of the Dorothy Perkins jeans that I went completely mental with a knife and cheese grater. I would definitely advise customising a pair of jeans you are not too found of in case you mess up a little, in my case I didn't mind doing exaggerated cuts as I wanted big and fun.

These sneakers have to be my favourite Chanel shoes at the moment. Comfortable and versatile, they serve the purpose of being fashionably chic and easy to run around London in. These were a rare find, made in limited quantity, classic Chanel tweed printed on a sturdy nylon material and a giant Pearl on the lip. Thanks Alan for buying these for my Valentines day present.

I love adding a statement necklace to a nice simple outfit. It lifts the outfit perfectly. This is one of the necklaces from my up and coming jewellery shop. It's my most worn piece since spring has come round along with the return of my oh so favourite A.P.C denim jacket. This jacket is my life and soul.

This little impromptu shoot was done the week I got my beloved Chanel backpack. Honestly it is probably one of my favourite bags in my collection, versatile and easy to match with dresses and jeans.

I think sub-consciously the palm is here to taunt me over never booking tickets to go to Coachella. I swear I will get myself there soon! But in the mean time I'll party like a scenster at my one man palm tree ;)

Top- Primark
Denim Jacket- A.P.C
Jeans- Customised Dorothy Perkins
Sneakers- Chanel
Backpack- Chanel
Necklace- Bijoux Parisian

Nouveau Chapeau de Maison Michel

Hey guys,

A Maison Michel hat (Chapeau) has been on my list of things to but for some time now. Why? Well it's the hat Millinery to be seen in currently. Not that that is the reason for my love.

I have been a fan of the brand for years now. Especially under the creative director Laetitia Crahay who is also in charge of the accessories and jewellery at Chanel (Oh and my idol).

Not a lot of people are aware but Maison Michel was taken over by Chanel in 1996. It has made exceptional hats previously for Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Christian Lacroix, Lanvin and Nina Ricci for their Pret-a-Porter collections and Haute Couture. Now the brand is focused on its own collection and working very closely with Chanel. In fact the next Chanel collection to land is the eagerly anticipated Métiers d'Arts Paris- Dallas which celebrated Maison Michel and showcased some exceptional cowboy hats. Whether you don't like to spend the average £310 on a hat or do, Maison Michel is growing and at a fast pace too. With a growing ready to wear collection and a celebrity/fashion fan base growing loner than Santas naughty list, I can't imagine the price staying as low as £310 for long.

The brand also focuses on the cutest fascinators, bunny ears and hairbands. Who wouldn't love a pair of the cute lace ears?!

I know in the next few weeks on my next work visit to Paris I'm going to indulge in buying the amazing Kate model for myself. It's something I've promised myself (and Laetitia) for a while.

But for those who cannot take a jolly trip to the new store on Rue Cambon (that's right, right next to Chanel) fear not! They are available on multiple platforms such as Browns and Matches

But for those who want to go in and try different styles, you should all pop to the new Pop up in Selfridges. Currently located on women's second floor opposite Chanel ready-to-wear. The selection is impeccable along with the service. The pop up is to celebrate a newer section dedicated to Maison Michel in the next few months, and is the biggest selection of the brand available in the UK.

Thanks for reading guys.
